One of his greatest achievements was to pass down the art of Classical Japanese Dance to the wide range of people. He has taught and performed in many oversea countries from South East Asia to Europe.
In 1999, Einojo Senju succeded the second head of Senju Ryu. He succeded not only the head position of Senju Ryu, but also the spirit of Wakanojo Senju.
Einojo has devoted his time and effort to make the Classical Japanese Dance more popular beyond age, gender, and country. Einojo Senju formed Senju Buyodan (Senju Classical Japanese Dance Group), to appeal to a wide range of people, the art of elegant Classical Japanese Dance. Senju Buyodan actively participates in overseas performance as well as domestic performance, spreading traditional Japanese culture among the various populations.
The group`s first oversea performance was held in Canada and it was a huge success. Now their activities are extended not only to their own performances but also to performances with other dance shools in Japan and overseas. |
